Overview

The LabMECAS is the Mobile Laboratory for the Study of Learning Pathways in Sciences subsidized by the Canada Foundation for Innovation. It consists of a movable part of 35 notebook computers into experimental environments. (primary schools, high schools, colleges, etc..). It also consists of some sedentary based at UQAM, the pavilion of education, where the developments and tests are performed. The LabMECAS primary mission is to study the science learning phenomenon as it is considered as a complex route, not only as a result. It brings together researchers from five universities in Quebec and Ontario that focus on the conceptual components, cognitive neuro-didactic and sciences teaching techniques.
